Turn to United Way 2-1-1 for information on volunteer centers; mentorship opportunities; locations to donate food, clothing, furniture, computers and other items; or one-time, long-term, permanent, part-time or group volunteering opportunities. 2-1-1 gives you three ways to find volunteer opportunities. 1. Look up agencies and programs in our 2-1-1 database. 2. Call 2-1-1, or if 2-1-1 is not yet active with your phone provider, you can reach the 2-1-1 call center by dialing (800) 427-4626. 3.
